Bahai Children’s Classes

Nurturing Character, Purpose and Service

SOL is pleased to offer Bahá’í Children’s Classes as part of our after-school enrichment offerings. These classes support children of all faiths and backgrounds in developing a strong moral foundation while nurturing a sense of purpose and an early understanding of service to others. Through age-appropriate experiences, children are encouraged to recognize their capacity to contribute positively to their families, communities, and the wider world.

The classes introduce universal spiritual principles through songs, stories, cooperative games, thoughtful conversation, inspirational quotations, and creative arts and crafts. Children explore qualities such as kindness, honesty, patience, justice, and generosity, and are guided in reflecting on how these values can be lived out in everyday actions. Learning takes place in an atmosphere of joy, encouragement, and mutual respect.

Bahá’í Children’s Classes are offered:
· For children ages 3–4, with a parent or caregiver present
· For children ages 5–6, as a drop-off program
These classes are offered free of charge and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

At SOL, these classes are offered as a gift to families and the wider community, supporting children as they grow in character, discover their potential, and begin to understand the joy and responsibility of living a life oriented toward service to humanity.

Children are invited into the real work of the day, caring for their bodies, their environment, and their community. These experiences build capability, responsibility, and trust in their growing abilities.

Thoughtfully prepared spaces allow children to move freely, choose activities, and explore with curiosity, supporting physical development, concentration, and a sense of wonder.
